Preparation is New Normal

There will be a time in your future when you WISHED you pushed harder to be better prepared. Something will happen, your car will break down, your spouse will have a medical emergency, there was a miscalculation on a down payment, etc.

Use urgency as a motivator to be better prepared, NOW.

Be proactive. Spend time to plan out your life. Be so proactive, that you’re ready before you need to be. If you’re expecting to pay a large tax bill this upcoming year, quarter, etc. Prepare with MORE than enough dollars to cover this. There is nothing worse than feeling behind and under, especially when it comes to money. Dig your well before you’re thirsty.

This applies to so many things. Be proactive in your relationships, your nutrition, your vehicle maintenance. Ask the questions, schedule time into your calendar and arrive to win. Take time to do these things, otherwise you’ll be forced to later, when you really don’t have time.

I have been behind. I have filed extensions. I have destroyed things that could’ve been preserved.

What is something you need to improve on being proactive?
