How do you decide exactly what you want in this life? How can you create the most vivid vision of what you want your life to become? When we start dreaming, it’s most important to get completely clear on what you want…Otherwise, all of this work will be for nothing.
Let’s have the most clear picture on what your goal is. Whether it’s earning $100,000 a year, or $1,000,000 a year, you need to have the exact dollar amount down. It’s best to use numbers when setting a goal, so that you can measure and manage it.
Why is this number important to you? When you begin to realize that these goals are actually an indicator of how you want to feel and create a lifestyle, you begin to see that these goals are simply the roadmap. Money is a tool to help create the life you want. Sales numbers are the score card on how close you’re getting.
It’s also important to remain optimistic and realistic at the same time. Is is possible to earn $10M this year? YES, but is it feasible to actually do for your specific place in life? Maybe, maybe not. We are all wildly more capable than we think we are. Buuut maybe not $10M in earnings for all of us this year.
Another important tip to keep in mind while goal setting is to work the numbers backwards. So your goal is to earn $100,000 this year. How many sales do you need to get per month, per week, per day? What is your commission rate, or how many items do you need to sell? This is super important, as it is the framework of your daily life, once identified.
Goals need to have a time frame, I will earn this money by December 31, 2021. When you are definitive, you give your mindset a deadline. When you have a deadline, you act accordingly (especially The Goldprint community).
